EvexiaTales takes care of you from the very beginning so our excursion starts from your hotel or any point of your choice in Athens.

 

Just an hour away from Athens, we reach the famous and impressive Corinth Canal connecting the Corinthian and Saronic Gulfs.

 

Next, we visit the ancient city of Corinth, the Temple of Apollo, the Fountain of Pirinia and admire many other ancient findings kept in the local Archaeological Museum.

 

Next stop is the imposing Acropolis of Mycenae in the region of Argolida. An unforgettable journey in myth and history begins, as we pass through the Lions' Gate, to find ourselves in Homer's "Multicolored Mycenae". The Cyclopean Walls, the imposing vaulted tombs of Agamemnon, Aegisthus and Clytemnestra, the treasure of Atreus, all are sites that you will remember forever, as they are a gateway to true acquaintance with ancient Greek culture.

 

Next and favorite stop is the enchanting historic town of Nafplio. There we visit the impressive “Palamidi”, the Venetian fortress dominating the town. We will see and photograph the picturesque castle "Bourtzi", located on an island in the middle of the port.

 

After strolling the picturesque alleys of Nafplio, you may taste authentic delicacies of Greek cuisine in a traditional tavern. Then, another great encounter with history and culture awaits us as we head to Epidaurus. We visit the ancient town and the famous ancient theater of Epidaurus. You may stand in the center of the orchestra and hear your voice loud and clear travelling over the ancient stands, thanks to the amazing acoustics of this unique theater.

 

At the end of the trip and upon returning to Athens, we take you to your starting point or to any other location you wish to go.
